Information We Collect
When You Request a Quote
Our quote form asks for:
- Your first and last name, work email, phone number (optional) and company or agency.
- Details about your event: the markets it’s in, dates, the staff roles and how many of each, the event name, typical shift times, whether staff will need to travel, budget range, uniform or attire notes, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- How you heard about us, if you tell us.
The form also records which page of the site you sent it from.
When You Apply to Work With Us
The site doesn’t collect applications itself. Our “Now Recruiting” pages and social links send applicants to tools run by other companies: our Staff Portal, which runs on StaffConnect, where you create a talent profile; VideoAsk, where you record short video answers and share a recent headshot; and, from some links, a Typeform questionnaire. What you submit there is shared with us so we can review your application.
When you follow a link to a VideoAsk application, the site passes along the recruiting call you’re applying for and a short tag for where you came from (for example, an Instagram post), so we know which post brought you in.
When You Contact Us
If you email or call us, we receive your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
Information Collected Automatically
Like any website, the site is served by a hosting provider whose servers log basic technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the referring page and the date and time.
The site doesn’t use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels or browser storage to track you. If we add tools like these, we’ll update this policy first.
How We Use Information
- To respond to quote requests and prepare estimates, including in our internal quoting tools.
- To plan, staff and run the events we’re hired for.
- To review applications, match talent to events and contact applicants about work.
- To reply to your messages and keep in touch about the services you’ve asked about.
- To operate, maintain and secure the site.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights and the rights of others.
How We Share Information
- Service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as website hosting, form delivery, email, scheduling and quoting tools, and the recruiting tools named above. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Clients. When we put talent forward for an event, we share relevant profile information, such as name, photos and experience, with the client considering the booking.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law or needed to protect people, property or our rights.
- Business transfers, if B9 Models is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Staff Portal (StaffConnect), VideoAsk, Typeform and the social networks we link to are run by other companies under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them before submitting information there. This policy covers only b9models.com.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it by emailinghello@b9models.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we won’t treat you differently for making one.
Applicants can also update or delete their profile in the Staff Portal.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because the site doesn’t track visitors over time or across other websites, there’s currently nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to turn off. If that changes, we’ll explain here how we respond to these signals.
Data Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, such as managing a client relationship or keeping an applicant’s profile on file, and as required for legal, accounting or reporting purposes.
Children
The site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we’ll post a notice on the site.
